Change Employee Entry/Leaving Date in SAP
Dear readers,
Here's how to change entry/leaving date in SAP
Go to t code PA30, or using SAP menu :
Human Resources - Personnel Management - Administration - HR Master Data - Maintain
Choose the Personnel Number you want to edit
Overview Infotype 0000 (Actions) to see the initial hiring date.
For this employee, the initial hiring date is 01.01.2011
To edit this, go back to screen Maintain HR Master Data (PA30). Then click button Utilities - Change Entry/Leaving Date, see picture below
In the next screen, change entry date to the actual date, 10.01.2011 for example.
In the next screen, will pop infotypes listed in Infogroup Hiring if you want to change the start date to 10.01.2011. Continue.
And, it's done!
To check the result, you can checkStart Date Infotype Actions Hiring.

Dear readers,
Testing is one vey important phase in SAP implementation.
Basically, the test is divided into 2 types of test : functionality and non - functionality.
Functionality
What is the application used for ?
What is the purposes ?
Prepare sufficient test cases, including ALL possible scenarios.
Non Functionality
Do security test. Test the authorization, which user is allowed to do transactions, run programs, reports, etc.
Do stress test. Test to run program for extensive amount of data. See the result and program performance.
Documentation is mandatory! You could use other software as tools to document the tests.
I always use Camtasia or Snagit, very easy to use!

Acticate Integration PLOGI SPLIT
Dear readers,
Sometimes when you change position's name through Organization Management, position's holder IT0001 (Organization Assignment) is not automatically updated.
To update it, you copy IT0001 to the start date when OM data is changed.
Well, it is a waste of time and a potential for human error.
There's a configuration to update it automatically.
Go to table T77S0, go to group PLOGI SPLIT, make sure it is marked with "X" to activate the integration.

Dear readers,
To send mail using dynamic actions, there are few areas to configure.
I've made a very short and brief guidance to do it, you can see it here.
